Joan is a native and lifelong resident of St. Augustine. She traces her family heritage back to the first Spanish settlers of this oldest permanent settlement in the United States. With a previous career in property management, Joan became a licensed real estate salesperson in 1992. She takes pride in the experience and personal attention she offers her buyers and sellers, and if they are interested, she enjoys sharing with them her knowledge of the history of the area. In addition to being a member of the National Association of Realtors, Joan is a member of the St. Augustine Historical Society and the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum, Inc. She has served on the Municipal Code Enforcement Board of the City of St. Augustine and Board of Directors of the Association for Retarded Citizens. Joan is currently an officer of the St. Augustine Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization engaged in the preservation of properties in the historic district, as well as historical research and interpretation. As a full-time Realtor, Joan manages real estate transactions throughout St. Johns County, specializing in home and condo sales on Anastasia Island.
